Open Position: Parking Equipment Installer

The successful candidate for this full-time direct hire position will be involved in every stage of a project including layout, bolt down of equipment, low voltage control wire pulls, cutting of vehicle detector loops, and terminations. Promotion path incudes field service troubleshooting, system support and IT networking.
Physical Requirements for the Job:
- Able to pass periodic drug screens
- Able to work outside in all seasons
- Able to kneel, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Abel to wear PPE when appropriate
- Able to see and recognize all colors
- Able to demonstrate eye hand coordination
- Able to demonstrate finger dexterity
- Able to demonstrate safe use of corded and non-corded hammer drills
- Able to demonstrate safe use of gasoline powered generators and saws
- Able to demonstrate safe use of impact rivers, grinders and reciprocating saws
Cognitive Requirements:
- Able to read, understand and follow instructions in English language
- Able to read product manuals in English language
- Able to communicate verbal/written in English with co-workers and customers
- Able to measure precise distances with a tape measure in English/metric
- Able to demonstrate basic knowledge of 120 VAC circuits
- Able to demonstrate safe use of corded and non-corded hammer drills
- Able to demonstrate safe use of gasoline powered saws and generators
- Able to demonstrate safe use of impact drivers, grinders and reciprocating saws
- Able to demonstrate proper termination of CAT 5, CATE 5E and CAT 6 using the T-568 color code
- Able to demonstrate proper tracing of conduits and cabling pulling
- Able to demonstrate proper use of smart phones, tablets, laptops and email
- Able and willing to ask questions when unsure how to proceed
Other Requirements:
- Hold a valid drivers license
- Provide evidence of a safe driving record
- Furnish own hand tools
- Overnight travel in company provided hotels in Indiana and Michigan
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in related field of study.
- Five years responsible work experience.
